The Latest Version of SAS Monitor and Setup
The software necessary to set up the SAS-1. This is a one file executable for a full installation of Version 7 of the SAS-Monitor Program. Please call or email us with requests for any firmware updates for the SAS-1 Sensor itself. . SAS_Monitor_V7 provides a means of resolving SAS-1 sensors' addresses associated with URL names rather than IP addresses. Enter either URL or an IP address and port number when connecting via a network connection to start communicating with SAS-1 at a known address.

Calibration Verification Method Recommendation
To reduce the time required for sensor speed and count verification, we recommend a probe vehicle approach to multi-lane highways rather than try to sample individual vehicles using a radar gun. Calibration memo.

As a supplement to the new manual published above, quick pull outs explaining specific activities now available with the SAS Monitor program, such as setting the individual lane sensitivity is covered in Setting_SAS_1_Lane_Sensitivity_11_16_2001.ppt. The procedure for setting up the sensor to collect and archive data is outlined in SAS_1_Archive_Setup_and_use_11_17_2001.ppt.
